Fire crews tackle huge car blaze in Sydney's north

Fire crews have tackled a large car fire that burnt out-of-control on a busy road in Sydney's north.

Authorities were called to Motorvale Road in Ingleside at 7:30pm yesterday after receiving reports of the fire.

Fire crews were quickly able to extinguish the blaze, and no injuries were reported.

Police told 9NEWS the owner of the vehicle has not been found.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
