You’ve goat to be kidding: Firies faced with unusual rooftop rescue
Firies were faced with a new kind of rescue operation after a goat became trapped on the roof of a Sydney house.
New South Wales Fire and Rescue operators were called to a home in Smithfield overnight, where a goat had decided to go trip-trapping all over the residence.
Video of the rescue shows the animal, named Whipper, was initially quite unconcerned, nibbling at the leaves of a tree standing beside the house.

However, Whipper also didn't show much disappointment when Fire and Rescue butted in to its dinner, allowing itself to be docilely carried down a ladder.
The animal was then returned to its owner, hopefully with all its curiosity about imitating its mountain goat cousins fully satisfied.Share a tip-off, video or photo with us
