Four Finks bikies charged over assault of former gang member

Four Finks bikies have been charged over the alleged kidnapping and gruesome assault of a former gang member in Sydney’s west last year.

Strike Force Raptor officers raided five homes in Sydney’s south-west early on Tuesday morning, arresting four men aged between 22 and 35.

The men are alleged to be behind a brutal assault at a hotel at Vineyard, north of Blacktown, in December last year.

Police have been investigating the alleged assault since cleaners at the hotel reported blood spattered across the walls and furnishings of one of their rooms on Monday December 18.

The victim was allegedly stabbed in the knee and sexually assaulted during the horrific 12-hour ordeal.

He then allegedly had his Finks tattoo burned off with boiling water as retribution for leaving the outlawed motorcycle gang.

“The victim lost hearing in one ear, significant bruising, fractured skull and also fracture to the cheeks," Detective Superintendent Deb Wallace said.

“It’s been some time working with the victim to give him the confidence to come forward and allow us to prosecute these most serious offences."

The four men have been charged with a raft of offenses and are expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old woman has also been charged after she was arrested at Bass Hill home.

She was granted bail and will appear in court later this month.

Police said further arrests are expected.
