Nine unveils the ‘Bish Boot’
Election night on Nine always brings with it some weird and wonderful ways to illustrate politicians losing their seats.
There have been shark pools, crushers, and even a football robot.
Tonight, we debuted the Bish Boot, modelled off the striking pair of red stilettos Julie Bishop wore when she resigned from her position in Cabinet.

Brutal, yes, but politics is tough.
“It is my functional work boot,” Ms Bishop said of the now-iconic heels.
The Bish Boot will be used throughout tonight, an effective way to show pollies being literally kicked out of office.
When asked: “is there anyone you would have really liked to kick, Julie?” she was unflinching.
“Yes.”
