Man dies in motorcycle crash after police pursuit in Sydney's south-west
A man has died in a motorcycle crash after a police pursuit in Sydney's south-west.
Police attempted to stop a motorcycle rider travelling south on the Hume Highway at Liverpool about 2am today.
Police said when the rider failed to stop, they began to pursue him.

The pursuit was called off at Flowerdale Road due to safety concerns.
The rider crashed into a parked car on Flowerdale Road a short time later.
Paramedics were called to the scene and attempted to treat the rider.
He died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established, and a critical incident has been declared.
The Law Enforcement Conduct Commission will review the incident.
