Two workers suffered burns after the explosion at the electronics recycling factory on Rowe Street in Malaga, north of the Perth CBD.

Grandfather George Rawson was driving his truck when he said his accelerator jammed.

The truck slammed one vehicle into a wall before reversing at speed, smashing into three parked vehicles and pushing them into two others.

"Bit strange, tearing off forwards and backwards as fast as it could go," Mr Rawson said.

Multiple vehicles were damaged in the crash. 9News

The 86-year-old was just after a coffee at the lunch bar.

"Most expensive coffee I've bought," he said.

A bystander grabbed the keys from Mr Rawson's ignition before the truck could do any more damage.
