Explosion at brewery leaves man with serious injuries

A 38-year-old man is in a serious condition after an explosion at a brewery yesterday.
The man was welding a beer tank yesterday afternoon at Kincumber, on NSW's Central Coast, when there was an explosion.

He suffered serious injuries including burns and was placed in an induced coma while paramedics attempted to stabilise him.
The man was then escorted by CareFlight helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.
He remains in the hospital's burns unit in a stable condition.
The exact cause of the explosion has not been confirmed
