Escaped Sydney inmate found

An inmate who escaped from Sydney's Long Bay jail has been recaptured after 13 hours on the run.
Leigh Keefe, 41, who is serving an 18-month term for a break and enter offence, went missing after finishing cleaning duties at the prison on Friday at about 9am.
Officers launched a search after performing a head count and realising the minimum security inmate had escaped.

He was found in Ambarvale about 10pm (AEDT) following public tip-offs, and has been charged with inmate escape lawful custody.
