Emma Stone destroys Jimmy Fallon in mime battle

There are moments when you could be forgiven for believing Emma Stone is actually singing live in this epic lip-sync battle with Jimmy Fallon.

The Hollywood actress schooled the Tonight Show host with a motor-mouthed routine showing off her uncanny miming skills on the show yesterday.

Despite the punishing pace of the lyrics in her first choice of song, Blues Traveler's “Hook”, Stone seemed more than able to bend her mouth around them – even throwing in some stage moves that had the crowd in hysterics.

So desperate was Fallon to win back the crowd after his schooling in the first round he was forced to pull out a robot dance in the second battle.

But Stone's choice of second song "All I Do Is Win" by DJ Khaled took the comedian’s humiliation to another level altogether.

So what's the secret behind her phenomenal skills?

"We were meant to be lip-synching but I was full singing the Blues Traveler song," she said on the show.

"It was karaoke to me."
