Missing boy found after air and land search near Kingaroy

A missing boy has been found safe and well, after his disappearance from a small town north-west of Kingaroy sparked an air and land search. 

Police, SES and other emergency service crews searched bushland and the Stuart River at Proston Weir, about 50km from Kingaroy, for the missing 13-year-old.

The boy was reported missing about 10.30am AEST, and a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman confirmed he was found this afternoon.
