A 25-year-old man feared to have been abducted has been found, but police are still investigating the mysterious nature of his disappearance.

South Australia Police said they found Malcom Walker "safe and well" today.

At 6.30pm on October 7, witnesses reported a man on a bike being attacked and bundled into a car in an alley, just off Hamblyn Road at Elizabeth Downs.

Investigators don't believe it is a random incident.

Police have seized CCTV which shows a man running down the road, with a white car also seen speeding out of the laneway just minutes later.

The alleged attack unfolded in front of shocked children and nearby residents.

"I saw two guys in the car bashing him, saw one strangling him, saw them put the guy on the bike in the boot and drive off," Matthew Eberhard said.

"I've seen two guys sort of attacking this guy on the floor and then the car came zooming out the alleyway," Pam Blockley added.

Detectives are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the attack to call police.
