Two elderly Vic pedestrians killed

Two elderly pedestrians have died in separate incidents in Melbourne.
A 75-year-old man was struck by a bus as he crossed a road in Avondale Heights on Thursday morning.
He died en route to hospital.

The bus was not carrying passengers and the driver was uninjured.
A 68-year-old woman was hit by a ute as she crossed a road in Doncaster East on Thursday afternoon.
The woman died at the scene.
Police said the ute driver, a 68-year-old Burwood man, is assisting with inquiries.
