Elderly man tied up in Qld home invasion

An elderly man has been tied up during an overnight home invasion near Brisbane.

Police say several men entered the 74-year-old man's home at Woodridge, south of Brisbane, just after midnight on Saturday and tied him up.

They fled with cash and jewellery.

The victim was later able to free himself and call police.

Investigations are continuing.
