Elderly man injured in Perth bag snatch

A teenager has been charged over a bag snatch which left an elderly man on the ground suffering cuts and back pain.

Police allege the 19 year-old stole the shoulder bag from the 85 year-old who fell to the ground during the robbery and was given first aid, at a shopping centre at Westminster, in Perth's north, in November last year.

The accused man will face Perth Magistrates Court on July 13.
