Brisbane woman attacked in own home by stranger ‘posing as property industry representative’
Police are hunting for a man who attacked a woman inside her home at Eight Mile Plains in Brisbane's south-east.
The 32-year-old woman opened the door for an unknown man claiming to work in the property industry just before 4pm yesterday.
After the woman told him her home wasn’t for sale, the man allegedly shoved the woman’s head into a table and then into a mirror.
“(The victim has) received some injuries to her head which will need some hospital treatment and he has demanded some property from her,” Queensland Police spokesman Steve Flori said.
Police say the alleged offender is of Asian appearance, around 30 years old and was last seen wearing a blue suit, a white shirt and a tie.
