Dozens evacuated as blaze destroys Sydney car shed
Dozens of people were evacuated after a fire destroyed a shed and two cars in Sydney's northwest overnight.
Police and fire crews were called to Rowe Street, Eastwood just after 10pm yesterday after reports a large shed was engulfed in flames.
As emergency workers battled the blaze, police evacuated more than 30 residents from a neighbouring unit block.

Diners at several nearby restaurants were also evacuated as a precaution, but no injuries were reported.
The fire was extinguished just before midnight, but two cars inside the shed were completely destroyed and a third was badly damaged, police said.
A crime scene has been set up and police are now investigating the cause of the blaze.
