A Sunshine Coast dairy company has recalled one of its products over E. Coli contamination.
Woombye Cheese Company is recalling its Blackall Gold Washed Rind 200g cheese with the best before date of September 10, 2018 due to high E.coli count.
E. Coli infection can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain and fever or more serious symptoms. Anyone concerned about their health should contact their doctor.
The product has been available for sale at fresh food markets, grocers and selected IGA stores across Queensland. Customers can return the product for a full refund.
The family-owned dairy company has been operating out of the Sunshine Coast hinterland since 2013.
