Dubai police could soon be swooping on criminals from above, on hoverbikes.

The Middle Eastern nation’s police have been caught training on the futuristic vechile, that they claim will help first responders reach difficult areas easier.

The crime fighting contraptions come with a hefty price tag, costing around $200,000 each.

Hoversurf – a Russian owned company has gifted the force its first serial production of the electric vehicle.

It allows police to get as high as four metres off the ground, and can reach a speed of 100 km/h.

The country’s police force already has a Ferrari and Lamborghini among its crime fighting cars.

Dubai is also eager to have robocops alongside its police by 2030.
