Drug arrests at Sydney music festivals
More than 136 people have been charged with drug offences at three music festivals and dance parties in Sydney over the weekend.
The latest set of 38 arrests happened at The Secret Garden Music Festival in Camden after NSW Police searched almost 200 people and 55 vehicles.
Seventeen people were treated by paramedics for the effects of drugs, including two who overdosed.
"It's extremely disappointing," Camden Police Area Command Inspector Paul Frye said in a statement on Sunday.
The arrests come after 36 people were charged with supply or possession of drugs including MDMA at the Supremacy dance party at Sydney's Olympic Park on Saturday.
As well, 62 people were charged with drug possession at the Sydney City Limits music festival at Centennial Park on Saturday.
