Drought-hit farmers will be able to access drought relief payments over the Christmas holidays.
The federal government has confirmed the $3000 payments will continue over Christmas and the New Year as part of its national drought support program.
"It will put food on the table and make sure farming families can make ends meet," Drought Minister David Littleproud said on Monday.

Farmers wanting to apply for a slice of the $33.2 million package have been asked to go through charities like Vinnies and the Salvation Army.
"This is about making sure families can have dignity this Christmas and into the New Year," Mr Littleproud said.
