Driver veers off road and crashes into tree on Christmas Eve

A motorist has been filmed drifting off the road and into a tree on the NSW Central Coast on Christmas Eve.

The driver of a black ute is driving like any other motorist until eventually veering off the road.

It drives off-road for about 50m until crashing into a tree.

At the moment of impact, heavy branches fall from the tree and on top of the ute.

The crash appears to have occurred on December 24 at approximately 2.06pm on Woy Woy Road, Kariong.

Dashboard camera footage of the crash was uploaded to YouTube by Dash Cam Owners Australia on Tuesday.

The uploader said the black ute’s occupants were transported to hospital with minor injuries. It is unknown how many occupants were in the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.
