Driver dead after being crushed by truck at Melbourne home

A driver has died after his truck rolled onto him in Melbourne’s inner-suburbs.

Emergency services were called to the Kew address about 1.30pm today.

Police believe the man operating the truck had exited the vehicle when it rolled forwards onto him.

The man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner and WorkSafe are probing the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
