Driver charged after NSW house crash

An uninsured driver has been charged after a car crashed into a house in Sydney's northwest, injuring four people including a pregnant woman.

The unregistered car crashed into a house on Canoona Ave, Windsor Downs, on Saturday afternoon hitting a group of people standing on the front veranda.

Four people, including a 14-year-old girl and a 25-year-old woman who is four months pregnant, were injured.

A 48-year-old woman remains in hospital with fractures to her right knee and leg, while a 23-year-old woman has been released.

Late on Sunday night, police charged a 41-year-old man with dangerous driving offences, including driving an unregistered and uninsured car, furious driving occasioning actual bodily harm, as well as negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.

His licence has been suspended and he was granted conditional bail to appear at Windsor Local Court on July 16.
