Drink-driver flips car in Sydney's north

A man accused of blowing almost twice the legal alcohol limit after crashing his car in Sydney's north will face court.

The 31-year-old was travelling in his Alfa Romeo on Lady Game Drive at West Pymble about 11.45pm (AEST) on Wednesday when he allegedly hit a rock wall, flipping the car on to its roof.

A second vehicle collided with the debris moments later.

The first driver returned a positive breath test and was taken to Hornsby police station where it's alleged he blew 0.097.

His licence was suspended and he'll face Hornsby Local Court on May 15, charged with mid-range drink driving.
