Dog rescued from inside ACT power pole
AAP
Curiosity may have killed the cat but it almost got the better of a dog that lodged itself inside a concrete power pole in the ACT.
Chief the bulldog was stuck between a rock and a hard place on Tuesday morning after crawling inside the high-voltage pole in Conder, prompting firies to rush to its rescue.
They used fibre-optic cameras to locate and free him, allowing Chief to get himself out of a tricky spot.
