A Perth family is heartbroken, after their dog was allegedly poisoned by a neighbour.
The family woke yesterday morning to find their beloved pet unresponsive in the backyard of their southern suburbs home.
The dog was discovered by their young daughter, whose parents say she is now scarred for life.

They believe the Kelpie cross, named Sasha, had been baited.
A month ago, the family received an anonymous letter accusing the dog of being “unruly”, barking “all day, all night”.
The letter said the owners were “inconsiderate”.
The family said they were looking after the eight-year-old dog and were in the process of adopting it from a shelter.
Rangers have taken the dog’s body and the family is waiting for the official cause of death.
