Divorce fees to drop after hike overrule

The Senate wants it to be cheaper for Australians to get divorced.
The Australian Greens and Labor joined forces on Thursday to disallow a government regulation to increase divorce fees from $845 to $1195 and fees for subpoenas by $65.
The fees will revert back to their previous amounts, effective immediately.
