Disqualified driver caught in traffic jam

A man disqualified from driving in NSW until 2030 has been caught behind the wheel after getting stuck in traffic in North Gosford.
Police allege he was recognised as being a disqualified driver by officers on the Pacific Highway north of Sydney about 3.25pm on Thursday and they attempted to pull over his vehicle.
It's alleged the 32-year-old failed to stop and was pursued through the surrounding streets before getting stuck in traffic on the highway, where he was arrested.

Police said the man, who was allegedly disqualified from driving until 2030, was was charged with driving and breach of bail offences.
He was refused bail to appear in Gosford Local Court on Friday.
