Disaster response cheat sheet launched

Australia and other countries in Southeast Asia will be able to respond better to disasters thanks to a new emergency response cheat sheet.

Speaking in Perth on Friday, Justice Minister Michael Keenan said the Rapid Disaster Response Toolkit would make it as easy as possible for Australia to receive help when faced with large-scale devastation.

Mr Keenan said the toolkit would tell agencies who to call in 18 different countries when something happened like a natural disaster or a terrorist attack.
