Disabled Vic woman indecently assaulted

Witnesses to an indecent assault on a disabled woman at a central Melbourne train station are being urged to contact police.

The indecent act was performed by a man near the main entrance of Flinders Street Station at about 6.30pm (AEDT) on December 28.

A male witness alerted Protective Service Officers (PSOs) at the station about the incident involving the 32-year-old woman.

He left the scene without providing any personal details.

The witness left with a male friend and was wearing a white and blue top, shorts and white runners.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
