Dining boom needs more water: PM

Malcolm Turnbull isn't quite onboard with the dining boom taking over the mining boom despite being keen to push along the agriculture industry.

"We can have both," he told reporters in central Queensland's Rockhampton on Thursday.

But growth in agriculture relied on the appropriate management of water, he said while announcing $150 million to fast track construction of water infrastructure across the state.
