Detention operator 'complicit in abuse', activist group says

Offshore detention centre operator Transfield Services is complicit in human rights abuses against asylum seekers, an activist group alleges in a new report.
The report, prepared by No Business in Abuse, which is part of political lobby group GetUp!, will be launched in Melbourne on Monday morning.

The report will coincide with Transfield Services annual general meeting in Sydney on Wednesday, when protests are expected.
Transfield Services has a $1.2 billion contract to run the Nauru and Manus Island detention centres, and is negotiating with the federal government to expand those contracts for a further five years.
