Army drawn into search for missing Queensland woman
Queensland woman Julie Hutchinson has been missing since March.
Defence personnel are helping police in the search for allegedly murdered woman Julie Hutchinson as the investigation extends to an army base in Townsville.
Police issued a statement saying Australian Army personnel were assisting with the investigation into the disappearance of the 48-year-old mother of two by searching the base and adjacent areas.
Officers are also speaking to a number of property owners in the Hervey Range area.
Mrs Hutchinson was reported missing on April 9 but had not been seen since March 7.
Her husband Michael, a security guard, has been charged with her murder.
He remains in custody after his lawyer requested an adjournment at an April 14 appearance.
The matter will next be mentioned in court on June 30, but Mr Hutchinson will not be required to attend.
