Deer caught on camera bounding through US gym

A gym is not the first place you’d think of to find a deer, but that’s exactly where one bouncing buck was found in the US.

The deer was caught on camera jumping through a window of Gold’s Gym in Anderson County, South Carolina, shattering glass all over the treadmills before bounding through the building.

The animal took a few laps around the gym, leaping over the weight machines as staff tried to catch it.

The entire ordeal was caught on camera, and posted onto the gym’s Facebook page.

“He thought we said a buck could join but it’s a buck to join,” the first post read.

“He thought this was our obstacle course,” another video showing the deer jumping through the weight room was captioned.

“As he dashed out of sight we heard Merry Christmas to all!” the final post said, showing the animal bounding out the way it came in.

The gym said it disappeared into the nearby woods before workers could check on it, but it was not believed to have been injured during the incident - it just got a bit of pre-Christmas fitness in.
