WHERE THE LEADERS ARE CAMPAIGNING

* Prime Minister Scott Morrison: Starting the day in Sydney.

* Labor leader Bill Shorten: Starting the day in Melbourne.

WHAT THE COALITION WANTS TO TALK ABOUT

The coalition is promising $100 million for clinical trials in medicines and treatment in remote and rural Australia. It is also pledging $65 million for a cystic fibrosis specalist unit at Sydney's Westmead Health and Education Precinct.

WHAT LABOR WANTS TO TALK ABOUT:

The focus is on penalty rates with Labor calculating that in the 10 days from Good Friday onwards, fast food and restaurant workers will lose about $220 while hospitality workers will be $280 worse off.

WHAT IS MAKING NEWS:

* The Labor Party has written to Facebook demanding it take action on a wide-spread campaign spreading lies about a "death tax".
