The dead woman's granddaughter, aged 21, discovered the body on Wednesday, after noticing a smell in the backyard, police said.

She found a skull and alerted police, who uncovered more remains.

All three women lived at the South Guildford property together.

The 55-year-old appeared in the Midland Magistrates Court today and is scheduled to reappear in court on April 22.
