A dashcam has captured the moment an Adelaide truck driver narrowly avoided steamrolling two cars which braked suddenly on a busy highway.

Video shared online shows the unsuspecting driver desperately sounding their horn seconds before weaving through the two vehicles on Victor Harbour Road on Monday.

Miraculously, no one was hurt.

"Only damage, clipped reverse guard rail on Sunbird leaving a scratch mark, took out left hand side mirror on Rodeo leaving the glass intact, black scratch mark on truck bulbar," the truck driver captioned the footage.

They suggest that the driver of the Rodeo utility slowed without warning to let the second car, parked on the road's shoulder, merge into traffic.
