Daredevils filmed on edge of Melbourne CBD skyscraper

Several daredevils have been caught risking their lives walking on the edge of a Melbourne CBD skyscraper more than 200 metres above the ground.

While it is unknown how the group got onto the roof, it appears to be a social media stunt and they appear to not be wearing safety equipment.

Footage shows six people on the roof of the skyscraper, taking photos and looking at the view above Exhibition Street just after 5pm on Saturday.

Police said they responded to reports of people sitting on the ledge of the building but the group had left by the time officers had arrived.
