Daniel Craig says he would rather slash his wrists than do another James Bond film

British actor Daniel Craig hasn't held back in the latest interview for the upcoming James Bond film Spectre, saying he would rather slash his wrists than play James Bond on the big screen again.

In an interview with Time Out London, Craig responded distressingly to a question about whether he could imagine playing Bond in a fifth film.

"I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists," he said.

"No, not at the moment. Not at all. That's fine. I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on."

When asked if he cared who played 007 once he finished up, the 47-year-old replied "I don't give a f---".

"Good luck to them! All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we've left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better."

Craig, who has played Bond for the past decade, offered some advice to whoever is cast to replace him in the next film.

"Don't be s---. You've got to step up. People do not make movies like this any more. This is really rare now. So don't be s---," he said.

"You've got to push yourself as far as you can. It's worth it, it's James Bond."

Spectre is set to premiere in the UK on October 26, with a worldwide release scheduled for November 6.
