Manly star Daly Cherry Evans reportedly wants to backflip on his deal with the Gold Coast Titans and is investigating ways to remain with the Sea Eagles.

In recent days, the star halfback has had a change of heart regarding the four-year, $5.2 million deal with the Titans that was announced after Manly’s opening round loss to Parramatta, the 9News reports.

The 26-year-old, who wants to remain in Sydney, has until round 13 to get out of the deal under NRL rules.

Manly are aware of Cherry-Evans’ change of heart and are reportedly working to ensure the star remains at the Sea Eagles.
