‘Daddy Cool’ bass player Wayne Duncan dies

Wayne Duncan, bass player for the iconic Australian rock band Daddy Cool, has died aged 72.
Mr Duncan’s friend, Craig Horne, released a statement this morning on behalf of the Duncan family.
"It is with deep sadness that I let you know, on behalf of his partner Anne, daughters Justine and Catherine as well as Dean, that our great friend Wayne Duncan passed away in the early hours of this morning," Mr Horne wrote on Facebook.
The 72-year-old suffered a stroke last week, according to Noise 11.
Mr Duncan founded Daddy Cool along with Ross Wilson, Ross Hannaford and Gary Young in Melbourne in 1970
The band went on to produce national anthems such as Eagle Rock and Come Back again.
