Melbourne cyclist left with serious leg injuries after alleged hit-and-run with truck
A cyclist has been left with serious leg injuries after an alleged hit-and-run in with a truck in Melbourne's north-east.
Police say the cyclist was struck by the rear-end of a truck at the Mernda Village Drive roundabout at 10.20am in Mernda on April 29.
The driver of the truck failed to stop at the scene.

Police say it may be possible that the driver of the truck, which was carrying a trailer, did not realise they were involved in the collision.
The cyclist, Marc Schultze, was taken to hospital with injuries.
The 45-year-old Wollert man said he understood the risks of riding on the road but never thought this would happen.
"If you ride a bicycle, you will have an accident," he said.
"If you look at my elbows, they're scarred, you're gonna have a fall, but hit by a vehicle? Never thought that."
Schultze said he was grateful to the passing motorists who stopped and helped him.
He now calling for anyone who may of witnessed the incident to come forward.
