Former Labor leader Simon Crean has urged the opposition to support the government's free trade agreement with China.
Labor has vowed to push for amendments to the deal over concerns about its impact on local workers.
But Mr Crean has warned Labor not to vote against it, insisting the opening up of trade will provide job opportunities and better incomes, The Australian reports on Tuesday.
