On 8 April 2018, Nine News broadcast a report regarding a number of athletes from the Cameroonian Commonwealth Games team who were reportedly missing from the athlete’s village, which was also published online. That report inadvertently included an image of Mr Forrester Osei, a member of the Ghanaian Commonwealth Games team, who was not one of the missing athletes and was not connected in any way to the subject matter of the report. Nine News unreservedly apologises to Mr Osei for the error.
