Correction: Wellington assault charges, 22 January 2020

On 22 January 2020, 9News Central West broadcast a report about assault charges against a police officer, over an incident in Wellington in December 2018. That report inadvertently included an image of a different person, who was not the man charged. 9News Central West confirms that the person depicted in the report was not connected in any way with the charges that were the subject of the report, and apologises for the error.
