Almost 40 people die with COVID-19 across three states
New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland have collectively reported 39 COVID-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours while cases have remained stable.
NSW recorded 9632 COVID-19 cases overnight.
Fourteen people died with the virus.

There are 1187 people in hospital and 41 in ICU.
Hospitalisations and ICU admissions have remained stable since yesterday.
Queensland
Queensland has recorded 6221 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Four people died with the virus.
There are 420 people in hospital and 12 people admitted to ICU.

Victoria
Victoria recorded slightly more infections, with 11,925 cases in the past 24 hours.
Twenty-one people died with the virus.
There are 552 people in hospital and 25 people admitted to ICU.
Hospitalisations have risen since yesterday while ICU admissions have decreased.
