When will NSW reach its goal of fully vaccinating 80 per cent of adults?
As more regions in NSW are plunged into lockdown, health leaders are reiterating that the only way out is through widespread vaccination.
However, just 23 per cent of adults in the state are fully vaccinated - about 1.5 million people.
Just over 46 per cent (46.2) of adults in NSW have had at least one dose, and more than 47 per cent (47.88) of over 70s are fully vaccinated.

The goal is to get 80 per cent of people completely vaccinated - which is 10 million doses.
So far 4,463,212 doses have been administered so that's just under 50 per cent, but the rate of vaccination is accelerating.
Last week alone more than half a million doses (520,313) went into arms.
If NSW keeps up this pace it will reach the 80 per cent goal by October 24 - 11 weeks away.
