Coronavirus: Iconic locations light up to pay tribute to frontline health workers
Landmarks and buildings across the globe have been lit up in support of health care workers.
Overnight Australia joined in with over 80 locations across the nation putting on a light show to pay tribute to frontline health workers fighting COVID-19.

Sydney's Centre Point Tower and Melbourne's Alfred Hospital were among the many locations lit up by heart-warming messages of thanks.
Hundreds of people also joined in on the initiative lighting up their homes to thank doctor, nurses and healthcare workers for their tireless efforts.

The initiative has helped another group o workers struggling amid the crisis, with many arts and entertainment companies jumping on board to help out.
ResolutionX employee, Jaime Russel, was one the many employees who helped make the lightshow happen and he said given the dip in work due to the virus, there couldn't be a better time to get on board.

"When the lighting industry association contacted us we jumped at the chance to use our skills to project images on to buildings to say thanks to medical workers. What a great opportunity so we jumped at it," he told Today.
Overseas, iconic locations such as Rio's Christ the Redeemer statue, the Eifel Tower in Paris and even the pyramids of Egypt were light up with colourful lights and messages of support.
