Coronavirus: Thirty minute limit for hairdressers lifted
The 30-minute time limit on hairdressing appointments has been lifted.
Hairdressers, who are still allowed to remain open under the stage two lockdown measures, were initially told that appointments could be no longer than half-an-hour.
At a national cabinet meeting overnight it was decided that the limit will now be lifted effective immediately.

Those continuing to operate will still have to adhere to social distancing measures including the one person per four square metre rule for indoor gatherings.
Hairdressers and barbers also being advised that personal contact should be as little as possible.
States and territories can also provide exemptions to the 10-person limit for funerals in cases of hardship.
All other stage two restrictions remain in place with restaurants, pubs, cafes, gyms, play centres, and beauty salons being closed.

As part of the stage two lockdown measures only 10 people can be present at a funeral and must maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres between themselves and the next person.
Weddings have similar restrictions, with only five people allowed to be present including the married couple.
National Cabinet will meet again tomorrow to discuss further measures.

The 68-year-old man, Garry Kirstenfeldt, had a "serious underlying medical condition before contracting the virus", according to the a statement from Queensland Health.
He became infected on board the Voyage of the Seas cruise ship docked in Sydney.
Two Victorian men aged in their 70s also died overnight, bringing the country's death toll to 11.
