Family's heartwarming plan to honour WWII Anzac vet during lockdown
Mervyn Ey is fighting fit, but the World War Two veteran won't be taking part in this year's Anzac Day dawn service, with crowds banned due to coronavirus.
The 98-year-old Adelaide man is forced to stay home, so his family is – safely – coming to him.
They're organising a drive-by of his Athelstone driveway.

"I think it's a wonderful idea that they've all planned this – we even contacted the police so we have no problem," Mr Ey's daughter-in-law Christine said.
Close relatives will meet at their local football club in the morning, before driving to Mr Ey's place nearby, paying their respects from a safe distance.
Other households across Adelaide are also busy preparing their commemorations, with ceremonies and parades cancelled across Australia.

The RSL has encouraged people to hold their own dawn service from driveways and balconies.
"That is one thing that has amazed me," Mr Ey said.
"Young people carrying on the memory."
